Fight to be Fit! New MMA Gym Opening in Avondale

Damri Muay Thai, the new training and fitness center for mixed martial arts, will open its doors Saturday, Nov. 5th, next to the American Sports Center in Avondale. The 5,200 square foot facility is located less than a mile away from the I-10 and is the second business to open at the American Sports Center since 2011. Damri Muay Thai owner, Artur Niewiadowski, was inspired to open this gym for his two children who have been training in Muay Thai for twelve years. He wanted a place where his children could continue their training and to also contribute to the West Valley community by opening a local MMA gym with complete amenities at affordable prices.

The grand opening celebration will be on Nov. 5th from 11a.m. to 2p.m. The community is invited to tour the facility, meet the owner and instructors, view class demonstrations, and receive special membership offers. The grand opening event will feature DJ Javin from Power 98.3. There will be food trucks, a bounce house, raffle prizes, a helicopter photo op, and much more. All raffle proceeds will be donated to the AZ Heroes to Hometowns annual “Turkeys for Troops” fundraiser which will help provide wounded, deployed, National Guard, and active duty military and their families with Thanksgiving meals.
